What is the New collection widget?
The New collection widget is a widget designed to appear on the product page of your store. A prompt is shown to allow customers to opt-in to receive a notification when a new collection launches, via their preferred channel, WhatsApp, SMS, or Facebook Messenger.
When you launch a new collection in Shopify, the customers that have opted-in will automatically receive a notification via the New collection drop alerts, that the new collection is available.
This enables you to boost sales on the launch of new collections, by notifying customers who previously expressed high interest in being informed about upcoming collections.
